Team Leader – Production (Paint Shop)
All the following activities related to Paint Shop;
Having good knowledge on preparation of paints / chemicals
Having good knowledge on testing of paints / chemicals before & after preparation (Like viscosity etc..,) & trouble shooting
Implement scheduling in line with production plan and review it continuously
Improve processes to reduce production cycle-time and improve productivity and quality of products
Implement consumables plan in line with the scheduling plan
Monitor production on a shift-to-shift basis to meet pre-decided plans and targets
Implement and monitor utilization of resources (including manpower, plant & machinery) during the shift and review from time to time
Monitor loading of machinery and review the conditioning of machinery from time to time
Coordinate with tooling for availability and up keeping of tools and with maintenance for up keeping of machines and equipment
Coordinate with cross functional teams such as quality, design and materials for inputs to meet production targets
Allocate work to Operators in the shift
Ensure proper communication of production issues in the shift to the relieving Shift Engineer
Provide inputs to prepare MIS reports and review weekly performance on productivity, delivery, wastage, breakdown and quality etc
Ensure adherence of production processes to safety, health and environment policies and standards
Train Operators on production, safety and environment systems and processes
Should be able to train operators on Painting, Welding and Trimming
