Executive - Operations, Belgaum
Reports To: Duty Manager / Manager Operations
Job Summary
This is a supervisory, managerial and administrative position in the organisation.
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Duty Manager / Manager Operations and in accordance with the set policies and procedures of the Company, is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Cinema. Oversees and directs all and any aspects of concession operations, box, floors and projection rooms.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Supervises the functions of the department employees, facilities, operations and cost on a day- to-day basis.
2. Co-ordinates functions and activities with other department heads as assigned.
3. Monitors and controls, on an on-going basis:
a. Quality levels of product and service
b. Customer satisfaction
c. Merchandising and marketing
d. Operating costs & Maximizing sales.
e. Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene of the entire area under his purview.
f. Ensure optimum performance in specific jobs assigned in the above areas.
g. Q Management.
h. SOP’s being followed.
4. Sets up targets/ goals for the department, makes constant effort to achieve the same.
5. To introduce new ways and means to minimize transaction time at box office and at the concessions.
6. Oversees the services of Cinema from box-office to concessions and cleaning, to ensure highest standards and quality services at all times.
7. Conducts under the guidance of the Manager Operations, such functions as hiring, employee orientation, staff training , on the job performance, coaching and disciplinary action if necessary, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
8. Establishes and maintains the record systems to include but not limited to:
i. Programme file
ii. Promotion file
iii. Activities file
iv. File on customer comments form
v. Ticket register
vi. Complimentary ticket register
vii. DCR
viii. YIELD
9. Ensures that displays are up-dated at all times, and effectively co-ordinates for advertising films.
10. Prepares monthly reports, forecast report and any other report pertaining to the cinema department.
11. Monitors, controls departmental expenses, & maintains revenue/accounts related records.
12. Ensures compliance with all legal / statutory requirements in connection with Cinemas.
13. Maintains minimum stock levels of all items and participates in inventories on weekly basis.
14. To ensure smooth operations at all times.
15. Must be willing to Work in a team environment - with a total hands on approach.
16. Make rosters on a weekly basis for box office, ushering, concession staff and strictly control manpower costs.
17. Engage in Audit clarification in liaison with the finance manager.
18. Manage Food and Beverage merchandising using various mediums and creatives’ to stimulate customers to impulse buying and boost sales.
19. Have strictest controls on cash handling, making revenue drop reports and ensure that there is no pilferage of moneys and safe procedures of money handling is adhered to.
20. Must work towards making the INOX a successful brand and in all ways to act honestly, diligently, justly and truthfully.
21. Manage Housekeeping in absence of HK supervisor. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Desired Profile
Traits: Pleasant personality, well groomed and mannered. Pleasant appearance, in reasonable good health, must possess respectful looks, confident poise and style.
Qualifications: Graduate from reputed college/ university, preferably from Hospitality/ Hotel management Graduate / Airlines.
Age: 22 - 26years.
Special Skills: Must possess inter personal skills, be excellent communicator, be highly analytical and possess efficient reporting. Must possess job knowledge, leadership quality, knowledge of the industry, business, and operations and be able to present reports and analysis.
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years work experience, preferably in hospitality, retail management, service sector and Allied Industry.
